Grant has extensive executive experience in policy, regulatory systems and governance in the natural resource, energy and environment spheres. Serving as Alberta’s Deputy Minister for Energy over seven years, Grant led developing and implementing natural resource policies. In this role and previous senior positions, Grant’s role was providing strategic advice to the highest levels of government. Given his range of experience and understanding of the natural resource and environment systems, Grant was often called upon to assist in complex challenges. As a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program, Grant has served as Chair of the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Board, a Director of the Alberta Energy Regulator and a Director of Atlantik Bruecke Canada. He is currently counsel with Blue Rock Law, a business law firm in Calgary.
